National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic provides world-leading rehabilitation for nearly 400 profoundly disabled veterans annually through adaptive winter sports training. Week-long program in Snowmass Colorado offers instruction in alpine and Nordic skiing sled hockey scuba diving rock climbing and other adaptive activities. Serves veterans with spinal cord injuries amputations visual impairments traumatic brain injuries and other severe disabilities. Co-sponsored by VA and DAV providing all expenses including travel lodging equipment and instruction at no cost. Certified instructors and therapists provide individualized training promoting physical and psychological rehabilitation.
